High Score Break the Silence (Winton Man On the Moon × High Score Top Model) and Felicitous Zazou (Dexbenella It’s Only Me × Felicitous Raspberry).

Almost a year ago, after a lot of thinking, I decided to ask Susanne for a puppy. It wasn’t an easy decision because I had still planned to breed Meli and was eagerly waiting for her first litter.

I remember telling Susanne exactly what I was hoping for: “A liver & white bitch with a beautiful head, excellent breed type and the sweetest temperament.”

On 16 August 2025, Marie and Burton’s litter was born… and there was exactly only one liver & white girl. ❤️

Today, standing side by side, these two girls are separated by four generations, yet the family resemblance is unmistakable. The beautiful feminine heads, soft expressions, elegant necks, balanced outlines, and that unmistakable Springer type… this is exactly what thoughtful breeding is all about.

To me, breeding has never been about creating something completely new. It is about recognizing the very best qualities in a pedigree, preserving them, and- generation after generation, making them just a little bit better. Building on a strong foundation while never losing the essence of what made those dogs so special in the first place.

Looking at Lotta and Zazou reminds me why I fell in love with this breed. The past is still visible in the present, and hopefully the present will continue into the future.
