FSD Trial – Mission Accomplished!

With my beautiful Meli, we successfully completed the FSD (unmarked wildboar tracking ) under OPK Topoľčany, taking home a 1st prize and an amazing 3rd place! 💪🐾

The whole day was marked by relentless rain, which made the trial incredibly tough – wet tracks, poor visibility, slippery terrain, and cold weather. But even in those extreme conditions, Meli proved to be a true star. 🌧️🌲

FSD trials are no walk in the park – they test not only the dog’s natural tracking abilities but also obedience, control, and work on a fresh blood trail. Each dog must pass several disciplines – from following a scent trail to behavior during a shot, and even loud barking while working in the forest. These challenges are where a dog's true nature shines through.

Meli was absolutely amazing – focused, brave, and eager to work even in the pouring rain. My heart was bursting with pride as I watched her give it her all. 🧡

I’m beyond happy and grateful for this experience, and even more for having such an incredible teammate by my side.
